The sheer number of 3rd party tools to aid online gamers in their video games is astronomical. The market for these programs has grown exponentially each year a new MMORPG is released. The players are willing to lose their accounts in some cases where these programs are illegal because of their overpowering ability. In Knight Online, a popular online fantasy game, the 3rd party tools are very prevalent. Whether they should be used or not is a whole other debate.

KO mods are not for everyone, but they certainly provide a level of ability you would not otherwise have. Some of these Knight Online mods are harmless in that they simply change the appearance of your character. What could be the harm in making your brave heroic knight’s armor appear as a clown suit? That’s the type of thing that some of these mods can actually do. In those cases most of the player community is in agreement that they are not that big of a deal.

On the other hand, there are some Knight Online mods which are used to alter the game in order to gain an advantage. In these cases KO mods are heavily used in the online gaming community. Some are illegal and you risk losing your account if you get caught but with the game being notoriously lenient towards cheating, chances are pretty slim. If you decide you have to use some form of Knight Online mods, then you could stick with the simple ones if you’re not willing to take the risk. If you want to give your character a new wardrobe that should be fine, but use caution if you decide to use the Knight Online mods to gain an advantage.
